Participants must respect common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Harassment includes but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation; stalking; sustained or willful disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; use of sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; and unwelcome sexual attention.
Scenic City Summit reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the membership and badge of any participant not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately contact a crew member so that the matter can be handled in an expeditious manner.
Please note that conference staff members and volunteers are not trained conflict resolution specialists, nor are they security or law enforcement. Conference staff and volunteers will immediately escalate issues around safety, violence, or similar situations to the Chattanooga Police Department.
