About
Scenic City Summit is a community-driven, volunteer-run tech conference in Chattanooga, TN.
Built by the community, for the community
Scenic City Summit started with a simple idea: that Chattanooga’s growing tech community deserved a world-class conference of its own — one that didn’t require a flight, a big travel budget, or a vendor agenda.
More than a decade later, that idea has grown into one of the Southeast’s most beloved regional tech conferences. Every year, over a thousand engineers, designers, data folks, leaders, and the curious come together for two days of learning and connection in the heart of the Scenic City.
What makes us different
We’re 100% community-run and organized entirely by volunteers who do this for the love of the craft and the city, in partnership with ChaTech. We’re a non-profit — ticket prices cover the room, the food, and the experience, nothing more. And we’re deliberately broad: from low-level systems and cloud architecture to AI, data, leadership, and career growth, there’s a track for wherever you are in your journey.
Real Tech. Real Talk. Real Connections.
Our values
- Welcoming. Whether it’s your first conference or your fiftieth, you belong here. We hold every attendee, speaker, and sponsor to our Code of Conduct.
- Practical. We favor sessions you can use on Monday morning over hype and vaporware.
- Local. We invest in Chattanooga, partner with regional sponsors, and celebrate the people building here.
- Generous. Knowledge shared freely makes everyone better.
